As soon as Torrin landed on the adjacent roof, he heard a scream of rage, but he only had a few moments of satisfaction before the floor below him blew up. A shock-wave of dark energy collapsed and dissolved parts of the building under him, sending the entire side of the house toppling down. Torrin fell with the building, not quick enough to jump away, he was caught in the small avalanche of building materials. He gained many bumps and bruises on the way down as a big plume of dust rose from the old building.
He was knocked out for a moment on the way down, probably hitting his head somewhere on the way, and when he woke up it left him dazed, and dizzy, almost as if he was on a ship tossing and turning in a violent storm at sea. He was pinned under a bit of debris, and after a few moments, once he realized just how screwed he was in this position he drew one of his knives sheathed in his left bracer. He didn't know what he was going to do, maybe stab one of the warriors as they shuffled through the wreckage and eventually found him.
So he lied in wait among the debris, until eventually they found him. Once the warrior reached down to lift some boards and bricks to search for him, he stuck out at his exposed neck, the man made a choking sound and fell over dead next to the pinned down ranger, but the rest of the group was alerted to his position now. As he was encircled and pinned down, his thoughts instantly went to what would happen now. He had killed one of their men, it was likely they would kill him on the spot.
