Throughout History, both Man and Gods have constructed remarkable wonders of architecture and culture that timelessly remind the inhabitants of the world that peace and beauty is something that can definitely be obtained.
Currently, Ten Beautiful Wonders stand firm upon Azoria's soil, and many adventurers make it a goal to visit each wonder and take in their beauty with their own eyes. Will you be one of these brave adventurers who can honestly say they've seen the world with their own eyes?
Lorena's Floating Capitol: On the continent of Picyrus, the main capitol city, Lorena, is a famous, and utterly magical city that literally floats above the lake it is built above. Many people of all races and creeds travel to the center of the continent to view that majestic floating capitol city for themselves.
Fel-Akardia's Coalescent Citadel: The Coalescent Citadel is a massive church dedicated to the worship of any and all gods, as well as a premier wedding chapel many royal families travel to for their ceremonies. The Citadel stands as a testament to the unstoppable power of love, making it a heavy tourist attraction and a modern wonder of architecture from the fourth age.
Sylavea's Oakwood Bath House: This massive, yet beautiful bath house is build in to the base of a colossal oak tree found in the city of Sylavea. The bath house features two wide baths; one more males and one for females. The crystal clear water runs naturally through the bath house from a nearby river, giving the entire area a natural feel. The bath house also serves a unique, sweet-tasting nectar ale that has never been recreated anywhere in the world.
Nobaltica's Market Square: Not everyone considers the Market Square a Great Wonder, but those that do argue it is because the area is the single largest gathering of life in all Azoria. There are even special towers set up on the four corners of the square to allow visitors a bird's eye view of the square, as well as all the thousands of people teeming below. Regardless of opinion, the Market Square is a sight no adventurer should pass up.
The Daggoth Peaks: The highest point in all Egaia, the Daggoth Plateau's peaks pierce through the sky even above the clouds. It is said that, from the very peak of the mountains, one can see all of Egaia, and even some of Piscyrus. Though it is a dangerous climb, and native Wyverns protect the Plateau, it is a sight very few ever see, and the feeling one receives while atop the Plateau is Godly.
Venryl's Deep Mines: Though the Deep Mines are one of the most dangerous places in the world, their deep crystal mines shine with a beauty that is unrivaled by any natural ore. Also, at the deepest point of the mines, past a point where sunlight fails to shine through, their is a subterranean valley filled with massive crystals illuminated by the plant-life that naturally glow with every color of the rainbow. Very few have ever made it deep enough to experience such an indescribably beautiful vista, and even fewer have ever left to report their findings.
The Deadland Hellfire: Notably the more treacherous and nearly impossible area to reach, the Deadland Hellfire is surrounded by a ring of semi-active volcanoes where lava constantly pools in to the center. Once traveling along the flow of lava and under the surface, there is an expansive hollowed area of eternally burning Hellfire. The screams and hollers of the trillions of souls trapped in the underworld deafen the sound of the molten rock pouring down upon them as they attempt to escape their underworld prison. They say no mortal has ever seen the Hellfire and returned to tell of it. Will you be the first?
The Temple of Ultima: The Temple of Ultima is a rumored temple containing the last source of ancient Rune Stones. It is said to be a titanic structure that was built in the Second Age by the ancient elder Elves who worshiped the Dragon Gods. This Temple is said to be the oldest man-made structure in all Azoria, yet no one is absolutely sure where it remains.
The Floating Isles: The Floating Isles are another rumored area. The Isles are said to be located somewhere in the westward pacific high above the oceans and hidden in the clouds. They say the last of the God Dragons created these islands as a haven for their kind after the God Wars. Man has never before set foot upon these floating Isles, which are large enough to hold the world's population of massive dragons.
The Shinigami Palace: The Shinigami Palace is a noteworthy Wonder due to its location and the materials it is made from. The Shinigami Palace is located in the very center of the world within the Spirtual realm known as the Qliphoth. It floats high above the landscape and is made of pure crystal infused with spiritual energy. The massive palace is the home to the spiritual Grim Reapers. Very few souls ever see the Palace aside from the reapers themselves, making this one of the most interesting Wonders of Azoria.
