Appearance: A natural brunette, Nazier has made many altercations to his appearance in order to duplicate the appearance of his idol. Standing 5’7, and weighing around 152 pounds, Nazier is of average height and possess a lean, yet muscular body. His hair is naturally long and flows majestically down towards his lower back, though currently, his hair is styled in a tight braid due to his twin sister’s spurt of “Creativity”. Aside from his strikingly soft hair, he has dyed it almost steel-colored silver that virtually sparkles in the right conditions. With his hair dyed to the root, it would take some time for the natural midnight color to grow back.
His silver bangs form gently around his feminine face and piercing golden eyes. The golden color is from artificial contacts made from the finest strips of gold and softened to fit snugly over his deep onyx eyes. The gold is incredibly reflective and, in the night, if any light is to bounce from them, his eyes appear to glow in the darkness. One feature about his eyes that tends to grant him a lot of attention are his snake-like pupils. Nazier’s pupils are not always sharp like that of a serpent. Due to his special gift, he can alter them to take this shape whenever he is using his abilities. Normally, his pupils are round like any normal human’s.
Nazier possesses a slender, feminine body with soft facial features and incredibly pale skin. If one were to grip his arm even slightly, his skin would show the peachy color of a handprint. Because of his soft features, many often mistake him for a woman; more commonly, his twin sister, and many also underestimate his strength as well. Though he may not look it, Nazier possesses incredible strength, speed, and dexterity. He is not, in the least, as delicate as many might assume at first glance.
Nazier isn’t one who really cares about what he wears on any given day, but he is mostly seen in animal furs and silk clothing that accents his delicate features, courtesy of his fashion-obsessed sister. She enjoys dressing him up in both men and women’s clothing, and this lackadaisical young man could care less: Anything to entertain his crazier half. He does, however, have a favorite outfit: a beautiful white silk robe with golden flower printed sleeves and a warm hood made from the black feathers of a mountain Wyvern. He also wears two golden earrings, which are usually hidden from sight under his silver hair.
Personality:
Nazier’s personality, or lack thereof, is the bane of his twin sister. He is not an incredibly excitable type of person and is generally reserved when it comes to expressing emotion. He isn’t cocky or conceited, but neither is he quiet or soft-spoken. Normally, Nazier doesn’t speak unless there is something to be spoken about. He doesn’t always partake in nonsensical conversation or ceremonious chest-beating. He is more of a reserved intellectual and enjoys deep conversation over casual Smalltalk.
This young Peacekeeper prefers to take things easygoing. He is adventurous, but to a moderate extent. He does not like to waste energy exerting himself and will outright avoid certain tasks if they appear to be too much work. Still, he does his fair share of chores and always fulfills his responsibilities with the least amount of effort needed to complete the task, making him the laziest leader the Peacekeepers have ever had.
Life has become dull for young Nazier. As a captain, he spends most of his time pushing papers and constantly looking over the shoulder of his hyperactive, absent-minded lieutenant, who is also his irresponsible, reckless, party-animal of a twin-sister. Because life has become so dull, he too has become somewhat boring and lazy. Most of his days he spends lounging about the Guild, or sometimes he won’t even leave his room. He feels as though his life is boring, and that nothing excites him anymore. Still, he tries hard to laugh, socialize, and take part in the lives of others. He is a very pleasant person to be around and this quality attracts a lot of attention.
Overall, Nazier is a calm, laid-back individual who is looking for some way to spice up his life. He’s yet to discover the things that truly wow him, but is somewhat content with his modest way of living. Still, he has an adventuring heart that desperately seeks joy, which motivates him to get off his lazy ass in the mornings to live another day in search of something truly amazing.

Skills:
Swordsmanship: Nazier is a powerful swordsman who fights with both speed and grace. Many equate his style of fighting to a dance. He strikes with blindingly quick stabs, like a serpent lashing out at an enemy, and powerful slashes that can cut through wind. His Skills with a blade go unrivaled by most.
Snake Charming: The Rollands bloodline has always held the ability to charm snakes and serpents for as long as their lineage has survived on Azoria. The ability is passed down through the Men of the family and gives them the ability to not only communicate with snakes, but also see through their eyes, smell through their tongue, and sense through their senses.
Equipment:
Currently, Nazier has opted to start his journey with the bare minimum: his favorite silk robe, his taped black boots, and his powerful sword. Nazier’s long sword is one of unique design. The blade itself is covered in triangular-shaped edges that tear into its victims whether it’s stabbing into them, or slashing through them. The triangular blades also serve a defensive purpose as well, since they are able to lock other blades within the groves with less effort on Nazier’s part to hold back an enemy’s attack.

Abilities:
Nazier, as well as all males of the Rollands family, have several abilities revolving around serpents. The most basic ability is to shift their eyes into that of a serpent’s; giving them a sharper image of the world around them. Accompanying this ability is one that allows them to stretch their tongues to three times their normal length. They also have the ability to fork the tips of their tongues if they so choose, but Nazier only does this to shock the non-believers.
The Rollands family’s second ability allows them to summon snakes. At first, they can only summon small serpents, which Nazier utilizes to spy on others whenever he is gathering information, but as their ability grows, they are able to summon larger and larger snakes. The largest serpent Nazier has ever summoned was a five-meter long, three-hundred pound basilisk.
Nazier also has a third ability; one that is more of a curse instead of a gift. Though he is able to control it much better now, Nazier has the ability to trigger a horrifying transformation. His eyes literally bleed as they shift into their serpent form, and he grows long and incredibly sharp fangs that retract and expand as he opens and closes his mouth. Because of a powerful demonic spirit that has possessed him, Nazier has the ability to increase his strength and dexterity by ten-times that of his normal ability, but at the cost of his sanity.
During this transformation, he becomes an uncontrollably wild fighter with no disregard for his life or anyone else’s. He only kills and fights and kills some more. What fuels this psychopathic state are the screams of absolute agony from his victims. Nazier will psychotically laugh as he breaks his enemies bones, crushes their spirit and devours their soul. When in this state he regularly injuries himself as a way to intimidate his victims. He has been known to cut away at himself using the transformed version of his sword, as well as physically assault himself, or smash his body into his enemies, causing pain to both of them. The only person safe from him when he undergoes this psychopathic state is his twin sister. She is the only person he could never bring himself to hurt, even when possessed by the demonic spirit.
Nazier has gotten better at controlling this shift. Before, it would happen whenever he saw his own blood or became enraged. Now, it only comes about whenever his life, or the life of someone he cares about is in danger. The ability, however, is a constant drain on Nazier’s sanity, and every time he shifts, it becomes increasingly difficult to stop himself. Eventually, he fears, the demon spirit within him will devour his human soul, and Nazier will transform into a merciless killing-machine with no control over his former self.

Back Story:
Nazier was born within a village of snake charmers. His father, along with all the males in his lineage, had an almost supernatural talent with speaking to and charming snakes. His mother, on the other hand, was a renowned singer and traveled from village to village performing with her group, that is, until she met his father and, just as he did with snakes, he charmed his way into this woman's heart, convinced her to live in the village with him, and had two beautiful twins: Nazier and his sister Nazolyn.
The family lived within this village for three years; Nazier learning the family trade of speaking to snakes before fully grasping speaking to humans. They were a happy family within a modest village, until there was an accident. Nazier's father was practicing summoning skills when he summoned a snake with a corrupted soul. This snake wreaked havoc among the villagers; killing everyone. Everyone except the twins. Instead of devouring the two toddlers, this demonic serpent bonded with Nazier's soul, corrupting the infants young heart before hibernating inside his body.
After the attack, a caravan carrying its goods to a nearby town passed by the destruction and, alerted by the cries of the two toddlers, stopped to rescue them. Nazier and his twin sister were taken to the neighboring town where they were adopted by a retired samurai and raised within the village.
Until the age of around fourteen, Nazier and his sister were cared for by the villagers and the samurai who adopted them. This person began to teach young Naz the ways of the sword so that he could protect his twin sister from harm. Eventually, Nazier also practiced with his snake-charming abilities so that he could better understand and control them. One day, Nazier and his sister were chased out of the village when a thuggish guild of assassins invaded and pillaged the area. Unable to fight back against the invaders, Nazier fled with his younger sister and escaped the massacre.
For a long while, Nazier traveled the lands of Egaia in hopes of joining a powerful guild capable of keeping his sister safe. Eventually, he caught word of the mysterious Peacekeepers who sat untouchable on the high peaks of the Daggoth Plateau. Though the journey up the mountain would be dangerous, Nazier knew this would be the safest place in all the world for his sister, so he set out to conquer the mountain and start his new life.
It was a hard climb, and he had to slay many monsters, but Nazier searched endlessly for the guild of Peacekeepers. After nearly a week’s time, he finally stumbled upon the guild’s headquarters after taming a Wyvern and using it to fly through the mountains during his search. It was perfect timing that he arrived when he did, for the current captain was readying for retirement from the guild and was seeking a replacement. Nazier was promised that, were he to join the guild, his sister would be kept safe. So he joined, and quickly rose through the ranks before effectively replacing the retired captain.
As a captain, life has become increasingly dull for Nazier. He’s spent the last two years overseeing the guild and its members, but he has done so, for the most part, behind a desk. His sister has attempted to spice up his life by regularly throwing parties in the guild hall, taking him shopping in the Imperial capital, and attempting to find him a girlfriend, even though she doesn’t approve of any brother-stealing harlots he meets. Finally, she made the suggestion for him to go seek out he Ten Great Wonders of the world and see if a little adventure doesn’t bring back the spark of life.
So Nazier has set out to discover all the beautiful wonders of the world in hopes of rekindling the spark of life that has slowly dulled over the years.
Goals/Aspirations: Deciding to seek Adventure, Nazier has embarked on a journey to discover the Ten Great Wonders of Azoria. Being a Peacekeeper stationed in the Daggoth Plateau, he has already witnessed the beauty and god-like euphoria of the Daggoth Peaks. With nine wonders to go, he has set out for a journey that will hopefully breathe life into his dwindling spirit.
