Back Story: Legend speaks of the Great God Dragon’s imperfect resurrection among man. The fractured Dragon’s Tear plunged into the ground below with great force; however, only one half successfully landed. The other half, after being propelled by the Demon God’s power, was flung through space and time; effectively disappearing from history sometime in the beginning of the fourth age.
The Demon God's power sent the other half of the Dragon's Tear hurtling through the void for nearly three full ages. The second half of the Dragon's Tear seemed destined to return as it returned a mere twenty years ago deep in The Emerald Forest. The gem shattered instantly on impacting, releasing half of the soul of the Dragon God into the forest. This soul however found no host nearby, the forest being yet uncorrupted by civilization the soul nestled itself within a great oak tree. Here the Dragon soul remained for about two years, cultivating nature's energies along with its own. The tree grew to be of massive size, it's leaves turning the color of the most pure of emerald leaves. Nature from all around was drawn to the giant tree, and eventually the elves of the forest. The remarkable occurrence of nature baffled all who witnessed it, with the nobles of Sylavea claiming the tree to be a work of the gods. A temple was soon built by the elves to worship the tree, bringing many visitors from all across Sylavea to see the natural wonder.
After three years of hibernation in the now called Elder Tree by the nobles of Sylavea and priests, the Dragon Soul emerged in a new form. The monks who presided over the Elder Tree constantly, protecting it from any harm were the only witnesses of the event. The events, recorded in their many religious scrolls tell an account of an elf boy about four years of age with long golden hair and emerald eyes emerging from The Elder Tree. The forest was said to have become alive in the surrounding area with his appearance, the surround trees donning the emerald leaves of The Elder Tree. The path in which the young boy walked blossomed with fields of flowers that have not died yet since he was born from the tree.
The young boy named himself Sol-lu, and began to live with the monks of the temple, who considered him a gift from the gods. It was said he contained more wisdom than all the monks combined, and they were constantly baffled by the knowledge he seemed to have learned out of thin air. At the age of ten news of his assistance had already spread throughout most of Sylavea and had already started to seep out into the rest of Azoria. Many went on pilgrimages deep into The Emerald Forest simply to see him. It was said his touch cured all ailments, and the forest surrounding The Elder Tree was even more beautiful than the forests of Sylavea. It was during this time that emerald streaks in his golden hair and runes began to manifest upon his body.
At the age of sixteen Sol-lu went to Sylavea, leaving The Elder Tree for the first time in his life. He was accompanied by an entourage of monks and royal guard sent from the noble families of Sylavea. Along the path that he traveled to Sylavea the same emerald leaved oaks and fields of flowers were left behind, which had quickly become a sacred path of pilgrimage from Sylavea to The Elder Tree.
Once he arrived, there were huge crowds of elves and many of others races already there to greet him. It was there where he had revealed his true identity, on the steps of the royal court of nobles in front of the crowds as a incomplete reincarnation of the Great God Dragon. It is told that many among the crowd were unbelieving of his claim, denouncing him as a blasphemer, even the monks were skeptical, the last half of the Great God Dragon had faded to legend by now, it was unthinkable to most that it could resurface again. Looking down upon the increasingly agitated crowd, the nobles sitting around him growing uneasy as they whispered to each other Sol-lu made them believe. Accounts of the event that occurred for the most part state that as Sol-lu waved his hand, the entire area seemed to have began to be permeated by a green essence of life energy, pure magic. All who were enveloped in it seemed to become calm almost immediately, the whole crowd quieting before Sol-lu ceased it. As the magic faded the blind started to proclaim they could see again, the impaired rose to their feet from where they sat, and those on the verge of death in the medical ward within the city were noted to have made impossible recoveries instantly.
As the whole city started hailing Sol-lu as the god he was, openly worshiping him in the large congregation, he bade them farewell promising his return before he vanished mysteriously in a bright green light from the city, never to be seen in the elf lands again.
Goals/Aspirations: To bring peace to the lands of Azoria and prevent the coming war. For now, he wanders the lands of Azoria waiting to encounter his other half and brother, Fol-lu.
