Appearance: Molded to be the perfect soldier, everything about Kaen’s appearance is nearly at the level of a Greek Adonis. Standing at a height of 5’11” and weighing in at 165 pounds, Kaen stands slightly below his best friend, brother, and victim, Reign Yazarael. The young man wields short white hair with a blood red core of roots upon his scalp like a trophy, obviously proud of his unique appearance.
Just like his fiery head, his eyes gleam a magnificent and ever-burning red. Words amongst the bystanders who managed to catch a good glimpse of his eyes felt as if they stared into the very center of an inferno, one that was fed enough to last an eternity. His eyes reflect his enjoyment in battle, sometimes even caught “flaring” when he was in the middle of a fight.
His build is one you’d imagine only on a hero in fairy tales. Intended to be a perfect war machine to be used by The Empire as it saw fit, Kaen spent years on a specific regimen, lowering his body fat percentage to an estimate of five or six percent. While his shape is still slender, the muscles on his body are easily visible.
Given the fact that the funds of the Imperial Province are no longer available for him to use as his late brother pleases, Kaen dresses like any other ordinary adventurer. Upon his torso he generally wears a hemp shirt and on occasion, a leather tunic. On his legs are always a pair of fine, black slacks, and a pair of leather boots clad his feet. He wears a cloak on his back with his insignia, two blades held within a burning flame.
Personality: As Kaen was made to be the perfect weapon to be used as the Imperial Empire pleased, he believes that he is the perfect being among humans. However, as he was essentially locked up in the Imperial Palace, Kaen is still very naïve about most things, usually acting without thinking when it comes to situations he’s not familiar with. Due to some certain “situations” with his fourth master, Kaen’s mind is locked into a sense of always having to dominate the women around him, at least the ones he’s not intimately and emotionally attracted to.
Likes: Fighting, Getting Laid, Laying, Fishing
Dislikes: Little Children, Bad Remarks About Reign, Giant Spiders

Back Story:
Kaen's tale is sad indeed. Days after being born into a loving family, Kaen was taken from them at the command of the leader of the Imperials, Valyn Yazarael. Valyn looked down at the young child as he first opened his eyes. The leader smirked, the child had the eyes. Valyn had the young boy’s parents arrested, smiling to himself as the two of them would spend the rest of their lives rotting inside a steel cage.
As soon as he could walk and talk, Kaen was sent to live with the Masters, a group of four Imperial generals who were the cream of the crop in their respective fields. The first was Ralen Maldreth, the master of the sword. The second, Al Ra’Jin, master of unarmed combat. The third, Reid, a mysterious, but brilliant mind. The fourth, Alyssa Niltrino, the most pseudo-sadistic and bipolar woman anyone could possibly meet.
With Ralen, Kaen was taught to fight with a large variety of swords ranging from rapiers to giant, brutish great swords. The first master was extremely strict and cold-hearted, prohibiting breaks and slashing at Kaen’s back every time the young lad made a mistake.
With Al, Kaen was taught how fight with his fists. He was not only taught how to fight against an opponent who used his fists, but also against opponents who used weapons. Al was even so cruel enough as to bring in Ralen on certain days, forcing the young man to use his bare flesh against the hand-and-a-half sword that Ralen loved to use so much.
With Reid, Kaen was taught every subject ranging from Algebra to Zoology. The classes were hard as Reid would rush through the subjects with haste, refusing to backtrack on a subject as it would ruin his spree. Of the four masters, Reid was certainly the most pacifistic, but at the same time the most difficult. With your body, you only had to do two things, hit and block, with your mind…there was so much more to do.
With Alyssa, Kaen’s body was placed on a specific training regimen to strength his body and his core. The training was simple: You cannot block, you cannot parry. Kaen had to take every blow from his master’s attacks at full force. The young woman would not hold back and would continue her onslaught for hours on end. Of the four masters, she was certainly the worst and yet…the best. When she wasn’t beating the living daylights out of his, Alyssa would coo over Kaen like he was her own precious, little child.
This time wasn’t completely filled with misery. At four years old, Kaen was introduced to Reign Yazarael, the grandson of Valyn Yazarael. The two had a connection and became best friends just as they became brothers. When Kaen wasn’t being abused, smashed with a love-overdose, or crying, he was following behind Reign as the two of them would go on their little adventures around the palace.
At eight years old, Kaen decided that enough was enough and ran away from the palace. He was scared and tired of being abused by his masters, his entire body wrapped in small scars. Now, as he lived his entire life sheltered behind the walls of the palace, he never realized just how bad it was outside the palace gates. The city itself was a disgusting and unsafe place. Bandits and thugs ran the city streets at night while con-artists and fools ruled the day.
On the third night of Kaen’s escape, he was confronted by a small group of lowlife thugs who just so happened to find him cowering in one of the many alleyways. The thugs were new recruits into a slave syndicate and thought young Kaen to be a wonderful source of income. What they didn’t expect was a young girl to come out gliding from the shadows. The girl defeated the three full-grown men with ease, leaving an awestruck Kaen crouching on the floor. The girl smiled at him, extending out her arm to help him up to his feet. He took her hand and rose up, ending the scene with a handshake. She introduced herself as Leeya, a young kunoichi-in-training.
On his fifteenth birthday, Kaen was given a gift from every one of his master’s, his graduation and full entrance into the Imperial Army as a soldier. With the realization that his training and abuse were finally over, something clicked inside Kaen’s head. The abuse had reached its final day and now it was his turn. His aggressions directed themselves toward his fourth master and imaged themselves into a need to stand above her…dominate her. On his fifteenth birthday, not only did he successfully complete his training, but he became a man.
After finally becoming a legitimate soldier, his “grandfather”, assigned him various tasks of which he was not allowed to fail. On his fourth mission out, he stumbled upon a building in the middle of nowhere. He peeked into one of the windows to see a large collection of teenage girls changing into their respective sets of kunoichi armor. A smile came over his face as he carefully spied on the girls as they finished dressing. He crept into the open window and found a spare outfit which he put on so he could sneak into the class. Examining the students, he recognized one of the kunoichi; it was the girl who saved him seven years ago, Leeya. Nevertheless, he somehow managed to pay attention during the lesson, despite the room full of supple distractions. As time went on, his knowledge and proficiency in the ninja arts grew exponentially as well as the number of women he took to his bed. He was marked highest in the class due to some extracurricular “activities”.
On his eighteenth birthday, his brother assigned to him a task; spy on a village located west of the capitol. During the mission, Kaen bumped into a young girl, named Sabrina, who was roaming the streets. The two started to talk and eventually hit it off. Kaen returned to the capitol with his report.
On the day of Kaen’s nineteenth birthday, there was a coup d’état planned by Reign against their grandfather, Valyn. The old man dropped like a fly and Reign took over as the Emperor. Time passed and eventually Kaen found out that his brother assassinated his grandfather. He approached and confronted his brother and was told that all this time, he was being made into the perfect weapon to be used as the Imperial Empire pleased. Reign continued to state that he believed that his brother was better than that and with the assassination of their grandfather, Kaen could live his life as he pleased. Blinded by rage, Kaen unsheathed his weapon and slayed his brother in cold blood. As his brother’s blood spilled and his own rage died down, he realized that everything his brother had said was true. Kaen held his brother in his arms, holding his hand tightly has the wounded brother exhaled his last breath. With the blood of his brother on his hand, Kaen fled the Empire, eventually running off to the village where Sabrina lived in hopes of avoiding any suspicion. As a final move, Kaen cut his hair short as a signal to show that he was no longer the man that the Empire wanted him to be. He travels the land doing odd jobs and “helping” out the many women in need.
Goals/Aspirations: Enjoy the thrill of adventure. Return Sabrina to her father.
